This year at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, AL_A are exhibiting pieces from Maggie’s Southampton. Reflecting on the exploratory process behind the design and fabrication of the Maggie’s ceramics we chose to present a capping block and the plaster slip cast mould used in its fabrication, alongside two photographic prints documenting the process and the context of the building in the landscape.
