On 30 September, Amanda took part in a panel discussion chaired by Simon Jenkins at Cliveden Literary Festival. Alongside Ian Livingstone and Ken Shuttleworth, they explored the topic ‘Cities in the air: how should we live now?’.

They discussed the importance of public places, the expansion of cities, and the relationship between history and modernity in architecture. A video recording of the session can be found here.

Suzannah Lipscomb, Simon Schama, Edmund de Waal and Kate Williams were among the lineup of speakers across the two day event.
