Museum project wins the Spaces, Places and Cities category at the 2018 awards
September 12 2018The V&A Exhibition Road Quarter has been announced as the winner of the Spaces, Places & Cities category at the Fast Co. Innovation by Design Awards 2018.
The awards celebrate innovative international design in fashion, architecture, graphic design and data visualization, social good, user experience, and more. This year, the judges selected winners from more than 2,800 submissions across 16 categories. Along with the Exhibition Road Quarter, this year’s winners include Google, Microsoft, MIT Media Lab and NADAAA.
The announcement comes shortly after the Exhibition Road Quarter received a National Award and Building of the Year for the London region in the RIBA Awards 2018. It was also awarded Cultural Project of the Year at the 2017 AJ Awards.
AL_A were named one of Fast Co.’s World’s Most Innovative Companies in architecture in 2017.
