Amanda and Tristram Hunt in conversation at Charleston Festival

Discussion with V&A Director about Exhibition Road Quarter

April 18 2018

On Friday 18 May, Amanda will return to the Charleston Festival in East Sussex for a conversation with V&A Director Tristram Hunt about the Exhibition Road Quarter.

They will discuss the vision for the project, its realisation, and how the new entrance and courtyard has opened up the V&A onto Exhibition Road and beyond.

The Festival is a celebration of books and creativity in the spirit of the Bloomsbury Group and takes place in the one time home of the painters Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant.

In its 29th year, Charleston will also welcome Turner Prize winner Lubaina Himid, Helen Pankhurst, Sir David Attenborough and many others. In addition, new galleries, a visitor centre and a cafe designed by Jamie Fobert will open for the first time for the 2018 Festival.

Tickets to attend Amanda and Tristram in conversation at 5.30pm can be purchased here on the Charleston Festival website.
