Prime Minister Theresa May and President Emmanuel Macron visited the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter yesterday for the reception of the 35th UK-France Summit. This was Macron’s first visit to the UK since the start of his presidency.
In May’s speech she called the V&A “a jewel in the crown of Britain’s culture” and described AL_A’s design for the Exhibition Road Quarter as “stunning”.
Afterwards, Amanda and Alice spoke to President Macron who said the design of the courtyard was ‘magnifique!’ and he is looking forward to seeing AL_A’s remodelling of Galeries Lafayette in Paris.
