Lisbon project designed by AL_A among world’s best new buildings

December 12 2017

RIBA has released the longlist for the RIBA International Prize 2018, a biennial award which recognises the building that exemplifies design excellence, architectural ambition and delivers meaningful social impact. It brings international attention to the most inspirational and significant new buildings created across the globe but also to a range of the industry’s leading talents, and the visionary clients that have commissioned these buildings.

MAAT has been longlisted for the prize and will therefore be considered for the RIBA International Prize and RIBA Awards for International Excellence.

Elizabeth Diller, Joshua Bolchover and Wayne McGregor make up the current jury, with two further members joining for the upcoming stages.
