Max at RIBA North for ceramics symposium

Talks and lectures alongside Ceramica Exhibition in December

November 28 2017

‘Moulding Futures Symposium. Collaborative Explorations in Ceramics for Architecture’ is a one day symposium taking place alongside Ceramica, an exhibition dedicated to ceramic research in architecture at RIBA North, Liverpool.

The symposium, organised in collaboration with ECAlab, intends to spark a discussion around the environmental potential of ceramics, design methodologies, architectural ceramics manufacturing and emergent design and fabrication technologies, and how to engage with the materiality of the clay through collaborative working with artists and ceramicists.

A line-up of international speakers, combining research and practice projects, will take part in the symposium on 8 December.

Max will discuss AL_A’s research for the Ceramic Table project and application of ceramics at V&A Exhibition Road Quarter and MAAT.
