Lecture part of special event 'Fearless Design - Perspectives in Form, Function and the Future'
October 2 2017On 2 October, Amanda will speak at a special event ‘Fearless Design – Perspective in Form, Function and the Future‘ as part of the Khazanah Megatrends Forum 2017 (KMF) in Kuala Lumpur. Other speakers include Ben Evans, Co-Founder and Director, of London Design Festival; Izmir Yamin, Founder and Chief Executive, Independence-X Aerospace and Pulsar UAV; and interactive media artist Lynette Wallworth.
Her lecture, ‘Algorithms and architecture: How intuition and imagination shape the work of AL_A – and why robots don’t design our buildings’ will explain why artificial intelligence can never replace architects and how human emotions and instincts are vital in the creation of exceptional buildings.
KMF 2017 is a two day event from 2-3 October, bringing together experts and thought leaders to discuss the main mega trends across macro and markets, firms and transformation, growth and development, and people and leadership.
