Selection panel announced for British Pavilion at Venice Architecture Biennale 2018

Amanda to select curatorial team for the British Pavilion

August 1 2017

The British Council announces the selection panel for the British Pavilion during the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale.

Amanda; artist Pablo Bronstein; Suzy Jones, RIBA North; Gary Boyd, Queen’s University Belfast; Debika Ray, ICON magazine; and Philip Long, V&A Dundee will be selecting a curatorial team for the pavilion.

Following on from the overarching Biennale theme of Freespace, the panel will be looking for concepts which consider the Venice Architecture Biennale as a forum where ideas and concepts, as well as built works, are disseminated and exchanged. At the British Pavilion, works will be bold and imaginative and offer an acute observation of contemporary British architecture and its relationship with the rest of the world.
