News: Museum designed by AL_A selected as one of Europe's top architectural works
March 9 2017MAAT has been shortlisted for the 2017 EU Mies van der Rohe Prize.
The European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe have announced that the EDP Foundation’s Museum designed by AL_A is one of the 40 shortlisted works that will compete for the 2017 Prize.
An expert jury drew up the final shortlist of 40 from the 355 works that were nominated for the award. The five finalists will be announced in mid-February and the winner in mid-May.
The biennial award is the most prestigious accolade in European architecture, awarded to the best building completed in the last two years by a European architect.
